As educators, we know that you are beginning to think and plan, with deliberation and specificity, what the 2020-2021 school year will look like and encompass. We also know that this upcoming year will be vastly different from years past. Not only will you have to plan for several different learning scenarios, but you must also remain adaptable given the current state of known and unknown factors. While following the guidance of state and local public officials, school districts across the state will work to create the best learning environment for students. Before those decisions are finalized, we want your questions and concerns heard at the state level regarding the upcoming school year.
As one of the leading educator organizations for minorities in Texas, our state political leaders have reached out to us directly for your feedback. They want to know your thoughts and concerns about the 2020-2021 school year as educators in Texas. Please complete the TABSE District Reopening survey, so your ideas, concerns, and questions are captured and included during the state’s planning process. As educators, you deserve to have your voices heard, and it is our pleasure to share this opportunity with you.
We can accomplish anything when we share ideas, remain open to new possibilities, and work together with a common spirit of generosity, grace, and determination. Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts.
