ABOUT THE STATE CONFERENCE
The Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE) is an affiliate of the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) that is committed to promoting and facilitating the education of all students, especially those of African descent. In addition, TABSE seeks to establish a coalition of educators directly involved in the educational process of African-American students and create a forum for the exchange of ideas and strategies to improve opportunities for people of African descent.
More than 700 educators from across the state of Texas gather annually for the TABSE State Conference to attend professional development sessions and educational workshops.
Educational leaders from throughout the state are planning the 2019 State Conference which will be held at Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX, February 20-24, 2019. This year’s conference theme is Educate, Innovate & Elevate…The Time is Now. The TASBE Conference will provide excellent learning opportunities designed to meet the needs of every educator.
